USBC's National Breastfeeding Coalitions Conference brings together breastfeeding coalition leaders from every U.S. state and territory, including representatives from relevant government departments, non-governmental organizations including consumer (parents) groups, and health professional associations.

This gathering assists with development of the leadership capacity to more effectively build and manage coalitions to protect, promote, and support breastfeeding at the national, state, and local/community levels.

The Friends of the USBC are individuals and organizations that make an annual donation to the organization and are identified as a member of a core group of supporters who take an interest in the USBC's mission.
