Get ready for Lab Week! APHL will be joining our members and partners in celebrating the hard work and dedication of public health laboratory staff keeping us safe and healthy every day.
We wanted to let you know about a bit of a change starting this year. Because we can’t possibly fit all of our appreciation into one week, APHL’s primary appreciation event of the year will now be Public Health Laboratory Appreciation Month in September. Yes, we are still observing Lab Week with the entire laboratory community! But we will use the majority of our resources to ensure that Public Health Laboratory Appreciation Month is our paramount celebration each year. Be sure to mark your calendars in September for Public Health Laboratory Appreciation Month!

Most of you have probably met Flat Labby already. But if you haven’t, here is Flat Labby’s origin story and how you can invite them to join in your celebration.
