You can prevent or delay type 2 diabetes. Stay at a healthy weight, eat well and be active. With these steps, you can stay healthier longer and lower your risk of diabetes.

Millions of people around the world live with diabetes or know someone living with diabetes. Regardless of the type of diabetes, diabetes isn’t yet a curable disease.  However, it is a very treatable disease, and no matter how frightening, annoying, and frustrating it can be, people with diabetes can live long, healthy, and happy lives. Our goal is to provide you the information, tools and resources to help make that happen.

This is the place to begin your education about diabetes.

This section of our site provides basic overviews of the major issues surrounding diabetes, with plenty of links to more in-depth information if you need it.

Take our type 2 diabetes risk test for a quick assessment of your risk.

There is no way to predict your chances of getting type 1 diabetes, but you can familiarize yourself with its symptoms.
